The AisleCop Dual Pedestrian Gate System helps protect pedestrians through motion-detection and traffic control of dangerous aisles. The gates (typically facing each other) help limit pedestrian access to aisles when a forklift or other industrial equipment is present. Pedestrian gates will stay in a closed state to allow forklifts and other industrial vehicles to cross freely. When a pedestrian needs to cross, they will activate the button on the AisleCop pedestal. Motion detectors will then scan the intersection for forklifts and open the gates when there is none detected.

Note: Pedestrian gate arms ship in 6ft. length and can be cut to desired length following the included instructions.

When a pedestrian needs to cross, they will activate the button on the AisleCop pedestal.

Pedestrian gates remain closed if the sensors detect the presence of a forklift in the aisle.

Motion detectors will then scan the intersection for forklifts and open the gates when there is none detected.

Pedestrian gates remain open while the sensors detect workers walking through. Once none are detected, the pedestrian gates will close allowing forklifts to continue through the aisle.

Description

Motion sensors detect the presence of a forklift or other vehicle in the traffic lane
Gates are closed until a pedestrian presses the button on top of the gate control box, triggering flashing lights and an audible alarm. If there is no traffic detected, the gates open. If traffic is detected, the gates remain closed until traffic is no longer detected in the traffic lane
After opening, the gates will close after a programmed time delay unless sensors detect pedestrians remaining in the crosswalk
Pedestrian gates will refuse to open anytime a vehicle is detected in the traffic lane, even if pedestrian has pressed gate button to activate gate opening
The pedestrian gates may be manually opened or closed using moderate pressure in the event of a power outage
Installation not included. System tested prior to shipping. Buyer responsible for wiring electricity to the control box
