Configurations
Auto Gate System
These systems scan for forklift traffic and won’t open if it’s present. Activated
by push-button, the system scans the designated area and opens the gates if traffic
is clear. Gates close automatically once pedestrians clear the aisle.
Manual Gate Systems
These gates are activated by a simple push button, which opens the gate(s) for entry.
It does not detect forklift traffic, but helps employees cross at designated areas
while paying more attention to traffic in the area.
Forklift Gates
To enhance protection, high-visibility boom arms are installed in the aisle to help
alert drivers of pedestrian traffic. The arms synchronize with automated or manual
pedestrian gates.
Warehouse Entry Gates
Help control pedestrian traffic flow at warehouse entry points. These are typically blind spots for individuals leaving an office, break area, or another part of an industrial facility and entering an area where forklifts or other industrial traffic is present.Systems Options
AisleCop® systems can be configured with an array of options including:- Battery backup
- Link to high speed overhead doors
- Card reader integration
- RFID Identification card reader
- Guard Rails
- Interface with alarm systems
- Customized controls and sensors
Multiple sensor types can be configured for your facility, traffic rules, timing, or processes. They can be changed to meet evolving needs.
AisleCop® systems are safety aids that help define and control access to forklift aisles. They do not provide 100% protection from industrial traffic accidents and should be treated as a safety enhancement, not a comprehensive system. AisleCop® gates do not stop forklifts or other industrial traffic. Other critical factors, such as system maintenance, safety training for drivers and pedestrians, enforcement of crossing lanes, and assessment of safe crossings are the responsibility of individuals and companies.
